Delnero Furniture has workshops during the summer, one of which is an Italian cooking class. They asked us to build a pasta rack to help demonstrate pasta drying. We decided to make some for our gift shop as well. We also make collapsible pasta racks. These are made out of pine. The base is stained, but the dowels in which you lie down the pasta are not.
